Hello, my name is Wakayagi, Ayame, and I am a classically trained and licensed traditional Japanese dance teacher. My passion for Japanese dance began 18 years ago after my last child was born. Since then, I have trained for years, all while raising three kids! Throughout my journey, my goal was to become a licensed dance teacher; mind you this was no easy task. After months of training and studying, I made my way to Japan to take the test and I am happy to say that as of 2019 I am officially a licensed traditional Japanese dance teacher. My journey does not stop there, it was only the beginning. Now my new goal is to be able to open  my own  Japanese dance school and pass down everything that I've learned. My school is open to anyone and everyone who is willing to put forth the hard work and determination.
